EA Launches Playtest for The Sims Spinoff, City Life Game with Friends

Electronic Arts, known as EA, is currently conducting an exclusive playtest for their new game, *City Life Game with Friends*, as part of EA's The Sims Project Rene. This limited-time playtest is designed to collect valuable feedback on the game's performance and player interactions, offering a sneak peek into EA's innovative direction with this project.

Where Is the City Life Game with Friends Playtest Available?

The playtest is accessible only on Android devices that are updated to at least Android 12 and have a minimum of 4GB of RAM. However, participation is not open to all, as it's restricted to specific regions. The playtest period extends until April 4th, 2025, with varying end times based on your location: 7 PM UTC, 6 AM AEST in Australia, and 3 AM PHT in the Philippines. Once the playtest concludes, the game will be unavailable, and you will need to uninstall it.

Keep in mind, this playtest isn't a complete version of the game nor a definitive preview of the final product. It's an experimental phase where EA is testing various concepts and ideas.

What’s in Store?

Participants in the playtest will dive into a vibrant world where they can craft a character reflecting their unique style and personality. The neighborhood comes alive with activities such as browsing for new outfits at the Thrift Shop, relaxing at the Café, or participating in community events.

Players can collaborate on organizing block parties, make wishes at the plaza fountain, and embark on quests to find hidden collectibles. The game emphasizes social interaction and community building, encouraging players to connect over shared interests in art, music, and engaging conversations.

If you're intrigued by this opportunity, head over to the Google Play Store to join the playtest, provided you're in one of the eligible regions. If not, stay tuned for our next update on Bandai Namco's decision to discontinue PAC-MAN Mobile on its 45th anniversary.
