Eastside Games is renowned for delivering quirky titles to mobile platforms. Consider their adaptations of Cheech & Chong and Trailer Park Boys, RuPaul franchises, or licensed series such as Doctor Who: Lost in Time, The Office: Somehow We Manage, and The Goldbergs: Back to the 80s. Now, they are expanding this portfolio with Squishmallows Match.
Remember Squishmallows?
Eastside Games has partnered with Jazwares and Zaibatsu Interactive to debut the inaugural mobile game dedicated to the massively popular plush toy line. Originally launched in 2017 by Kelly Toys and Jazwares, Squishmallows are celebrated for their round, fluffy designs available in diverse colors, sizes, and themes, ranging from animals to food items.
The upcoming title is a match-3 puzzle game set for global release on September 2nd, 2025. Players will gather charming characters to assemble squads featuring rare and limited-edition Squishmallows. Additionally, you can personalize your player feed to showcase your collections and creative layouts.
Customization options are plentiful. You can choose from a variety of Squishmallows-themed backgrounds, stickers, and character avatars. The game also features claw machines where you can test your luck to win rare plushies.
Progress through the Squishmallows Reward Road to accumulate points and unlock Keys. Utilize special power-ups like Magnets to increase your odds of obtaining exclusive Squishmallows items.
Squishmallows Match will introduce seasonal content via season passes, featuring time-limited characters. The game also boasts features such as wishlist tracking, community competitions, daily bonuses, and various boosters. Take a look below.
Squishmallows Match is now open for pre-registration ----------------------------------------------------Pre-registering today grants you exclusive in-game rewards. You’ll also have the opportunity to collect a never-before-seen Squishmallow, available as both a digital avatar and a physical plush toy, before anyone else worldwide.
Among recent stuffed toy trends, I personally favor Squishmallows over other popular dolls like the trendy monster-like Labubu. If you’re also a fan of Squishmallows, check out the game on the Google Play Store.
