FromSoftware has mysteriously hinted at "enhanced encounters" with Elden Ring Nightreign's major bosses, set to release later this month. One modder has already uncovered early foundations for these new confrontations and adapted them into playable battles.
On June 3, the official Elden Ring account confirmed Nightreign will introduce "improved battles against existing Nightlords" starting this month—alongside the upcoming DLC and Duo Expeditions feature. Although few specifics were given, this announcement prompted immediate data exploration within the community.
Modder TerraMag (as reported by PC Gamer) successfully extracted the current boss material from the game and created a mod to make it usable. These are unfinished renditions built from the enhanced assets already present in the game data.
Specifically, TerraMag's findings (documented on YouTube) appear to include third-phase transformations for several Nightlords, such as Adel, Libra, and Caligo. These can bring new attacks, alternate boss forms, and various new methods to overwhelm Nightfarers.
As these are still unfinished and not officially released, they provide only a glimpse of what to expect once the enhanced battles arrive. For players seeking fresh challenges beyond the current boss lineups, this offers a compelling reason to revisit the ever-changing Lands.
