Monster Couch has officially announced the release date for the highly anticipated Wingspan: Asia Expansion. The digital expansion will launch simultaneously on all platforms on June 16, 2025. As the third addition following the European and Oceania editions, this expansion further enriches the digital version of the beloved board game.
A New Ornithological Journey Awaits
The Asia expansion immerses players in the diverse and colorful avian world of Asia, introducing species with distinct traits and strategic advantages. With 90 new bird cards added to the existing collection, gameplay reaches new depths.
Beyond birds, players gain access to 13 bonus cards, including two dedicated to Automa for solo play. Staying true to Wingspan’s tradition, each card includes meticulously researched facts about these magnificent creatures.
Standing out as the expansion’s flagship feature is Duet Mode—a competitive two-player experience centered around a shared Duet Map. Players vie for habitat spaces while tackling dynamic round objectives.
Visual Splendor of Wingspan Asia
Stunning sums it up perfectly! Four breathtaking backdrops capture Asia’s diverse terrains, while eight culturally inspired player portraits add authenticity. Check out the newly released date announcement trailer below for a preview.
Enhanced immersion comes courtesy of four original compositions by Paweł Górniak, complemented by a redesigned tutorial welcoming newcomers.
Wingspan: Asia Expansion launches globally on Android, iOS, Steam, GOG, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation with consistent pricing at $11.99.
