Elekid, Magby Featured in Pokémon Go's Charged Embers Hatch Day Eggs

Author : Violet May 06,2025

As the year 2024 draws to a close, Pokémon Go is set to ignite excitement with the Charged Embers Hatch Day event on December 29th, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm local time. This event is your golden opportunity to encounter the classic Pokémon, Elekid and Magby, with increased hatching frequency from 2km Eggs. It's also the perfect time to hunt for their Shiny versions, as the odds of hatching a Shiny Elekid or Shiny Magby will be significantly boosted during the event.

Given the event's limited three-hour window, you'll want to maximize your participation. Not only will you have a higher chance of hatching these coveted Pokémon, but you'll also earn double Candy from any Eggs that hatch during this time. To enhance your hatching experience, an extended bonus will kick off on December 27th at 10:00 a.m. and last until the end of Hatch Day, reducing the distance required for Eggs in Incubators by half. And don't forget to take advantage of these *Pokémon Go codes* for additional freebies!

During the event, you can participate in free Timed Research to earn a Super Incubator and XP. For those seeking even more rewards, a Paid Timed Research option is available for $1, offering a Super Incubator, a Star Piece, and 2,500 XP upon completion. As an additional perk, you'll enjoy 2x Hatch Stardust throughout the event.

To prepare for this event, consider stocking up on Incubators. The Ultra Hatch Box, available in the Pokémon Go Web Store for $19.99, includes 15 Super Incubators, 10 regular Incubators, and five Poffins. Alternatively, you can purchase a Hatch Box bundle for 925 PokéCoins, which contains five Super Incubators, five regular Incubators, and two Lucky Eggs.

Don't miss out on this exciting event—download Pokémon Go now for free and get ready to hatch your way to success!
