Epic Games Store Goes Mobile: 20 New Games, Free Game Offer

After months of anticipation, Epic Games has officially launched its store on mobile devices. Now, the Epic Games Store is accessible on Android devices around the globe, celebrating the launch with exciting rewards, free games, and more.

Which Games Are Available on the Mobile Epic Games Store?

Epic Games is shining a spotlight on three major titles: Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Rocket League Sideswipe. Notably, Fall Guys has made its mobile debut and is free to download from the Epic Games Store. By downloading the Epic Games Store app and any of these games on your mobile device, you unlock exclusive in-game challenges that reward you with new cosmetics. These include a unique Fortnite outfit with matching back bling, pickaxe, and wrap, as well as a fresh Fall Guys bean costume. Additionally, you can earn a Fall Guys-themed pickaxe for Fortnite and a gold vehicle trim for both Fortnite and Rocket League Sideswipe. Keep in mind, these quests are exclusive to mobile players.

It’s Not Just About Their Big Three Games

The Epic Games Store on mobile isn't just about the big three. Nearly 20 third-party games from various developers are now part of the mobile store. Moreover, Epic has initiated its Free Games program for mobile users. Currently, Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee is available for free on both Android and iOS through the Epic Games Store app, and this offer lasts until February 20th. Playdigious, a notable developer, has also contributed to the store's lineup with Shapez and Evoland 2, with plans to add Cultist Simulator in the coming weeks. Fans of Bloons TD 6 can look forward to its upcoming availability on the store. While the free games are currently offered monthly, Epic plans to transition to a weekly schedule later this year.

Despite the challenges posed by Apple and Google in downloading third-party app stores, Epic Games is pushing forward, making gaming more accessible to a broader audience. What are your thoughts on this development? Leave a comment and share your opinion.
