Amazon Prime Video has set a December 2025 premiere for Fallout Season 2, alongside confirming a Season 3 renewal.

The streaming platform unveiled updates about its post-apocalyptic adaptation of Bethesda's game series during Monday's upfront presentation in New York City. Amazon confirmed plans to continue the storyline through a third season following Season 2's winter debut – indicating strong confidence in the upcoming installment, especially considering production wrapped just last week.

"This year's holiday surprise comes early – we're excited to expand the Fallout universe with Season 3," said executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy in a statement. "Our talented cast, crew, showrunners Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner, alongside Bethesda and Amazon MGM Studios partners, appreciate the incredible fan support as we continue exploring the wasteland."

The confirmation of Season 2's 2025 release timeline surprised many. After facing production delays from LA wildfires and recent filming completion, most expected new episodes no earlier than 2026.
