How to Form a Fast Friendship with a Stardew Dwarf

This guide delves into the enigmatic Dwarf of Stardew Valley, offering strategies for befriending this unique character. Unlike other villagers, communication requires obtaining the Dwarvish Translation guide after donating all four Dwarf Scrolls to the museum.

Locating the Dwarf:

Dwarf's Shop Entrance The Dwarf resides in the mines, accessible by breaking a boulder near the first floor entrance (using a copper pickaxe or bomb).

Unlocking Communication:

Dwarf Scroll Before befriending the Dwarf, collect all four Dwarf Scrolls. Donating them to the museum unlocks the Dwarvish Translation guide, enabling conversation.

Gifting Strategies:

Dwarf's Gift Preferences Gifting is key to building friendship. The Dwarf accepts two gifts weekly. His birthday (Summer 22nd) multiplies friendship points gained from gifts by eight.

Movie Theater The Dwarf attends movie screenings. He loves all movie choices but prefers Stardrop Sorbet and Rock Candy as snacks. He likes Cotton Candy, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jawbreaker, Salmon Burger, Sour Slimes, and Star Cookie. Other concessions are disliked. This interaction provides additional friendship points.
