Fortnite Hunters has launched Chapter 6 with an explosive start, introducing a sprawling map to explore, the debut of powerful Oni Masks and Typhoon Blades, and thrilling boss battles. As the season unfolds, more exciting content is being added, including unique items to the loot pool and new features to enhance your gameplay experience.

With Winterfest now behind us, Fortnite Hunters has rolled out its first major update, reintroducing some beloved unvaulted items from Chapter 4. While the Kinetic Blade may catch the eye of some, the Lock On Pistol is generating buzz among players eager to improve their aim.

How To Get The Lock On Pistol

The Lock On Pistol, classified as a Rare weapon, can be found as floor loot or inside chests scattered across the map. Although it's a Rare item, securing the Lock On Pistol might still require some luck, so be sure to open as many chests as possible to increase your chances.

Alternatively, you can try your luck at Fishing Spots using a Fishing Rod. These spots offer a higher chance of yielding Rare weapons, making it a viable strategy to snag the Lock On Pistol.

How To Use The Lock On Pistol

The Lock On Pistol operates much like other semi-automatic pistols in Fortnite, delivering 25 damage per shot. Its unique selling point is the Lock-On feature. When you aim down sights, a circle appears around your reticle. As long as your target remains within this circle, every bullet you fire will hit them, provided they aren't using cover.

This feature is effective against players gliding through the air or hiding in bushes. However, the Lock-On capability is limited to a 50-meter range, so you'll need to stay close to your targets. For those who prefer a more aggressive approach, the Lock On Pistol can also be fired from the hip, though this method won't utilize the weapon's primary feature.

Here's a quick overview of the Lock On Pistol's stats:
