Fortnite Reveals Hatsune Miku Collab

Author : Joshua Feb 26,2025

Hatsune Miku is joining Fortnite on January 14th! This iconic Vocaloid star will arrive with two skins: her classic look, available in the item shop, and a NEKO Miku skin, part of a new Festival Pass. Expect additional Miku-themed cosmetics and music to enhance the experience.

Fortnite's ever-expanding roster of celebrity and fictional character skins continues its impressive run. The game's successful battle pass system has consistently delivered a diverse range of characters, from DC and Marvel superheroes to Star Wars icons. Miku's arrival perfectly complements Fortnite's current Chapter 6 Season 1 ("Hunters") theme, which draws heavily from Japanese aesthetics. The season already features katana blades and Oni masks, creating a visually striking and action-packed atmosphere.

The new Miku skin will be obtainable through standard item shop purchases (classic Miku) and a Festival Pass (NEKO Miku). These passes, part of Fortnite's music-themed Festival game mode, offer a unique blend of battle royale and rhythm-game mechanics, allowing players to earn rewards like skins by completing challenges. This update further solidifies Fortnite's commitment to incorporating popular characters and cultural references into its gameplay. With Godzilla also slated for a future appearance, the excitement continues to build for Fortnite's Chapter 6 Season 1.
