Fortnite's Getaway: Limited Time Mode Guide

Fortnite

If you're eager to dive into some thrilling heist action, *Fortnite*'s The Getaway Limited Time Mode (LTM) is your go-to. Originally launched in Chapter 1 Season 5, this mode made a comeback in Chapter 6 Season 2, bringing excitement back to the game. Here's your comprehensive guide on how to play The Getaway in *Fortnite*, including its duration.

Playing The Getaway in Fortnite

Jumping into The Getaway in *Fortnite* is straightforward. No matter which platform you're using, start by launching *Fortnite*, head to the Lobby, and select Discover. Keep an eye out for The Getaway and hit the Play button to join the queue.

Can't spot it? No worries! Use the search bar located in the top left corner of the Lobby, type in "The Getaway," and it should appear instantly.

What Is The Getaway?

The Getaway transforms *Fortnite* into a high-stakes heist scenario. Your mission? Snag a jewel from the map and make a clean escape using a Getaway Van. This is a PvP mode, pitting you against other teams all vying for the same prize.

Victory goes to the first three teams that successfully secure a jewel and escape. Alternatively, you can eliminate competing teams to thin out the competition. A refreshing twist this time around is the availability of The Getaway in Zero Build mode, perfect for those who prefer to skip *Fortnite*'s traditional building mechanics. You can also play in Duos, Squads, Unranked, and Ranked settings, offering a variety of ways to enjoy the heist.

The Getaway Start and End Dates

The Getaway is currently live in *Fortnite*, but don't miss your chance to play—it's set to vanish on April 1 at 12 a.m. Eastern Time.

I highly recommend you jump into the action before it's gone. Not only is it a blast, but you'll also earn XP that counts towards your Battle Pass progression, making it a rewarding experience all around.

That's the scoop on playing The Getaway in *Fortnite*. For more tips and insights, make sure to check out The Escapist.
