Following a pre-installation phase earlier this week, HoYoverse has globally launched the highly anticipated Genshin Impact (Free) version 5.0 update, titled "Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn," across mobile, PC, and PlayStation platforms. This significant update introduces Natlan, a new region accessible to players of all levels, along with exciting new characters like Mualani, and highly requested character reruns, including the Raiden Shogun. The first Genshin Impact 5.0 banner features Mualani, Kachina, and Kaedehara Kazuha, while the second banner showcases Kinich and the Raiden Shogun. iOS users who pre-installed the update should experience minimal additional download time, although the game may require some time to reorganize existing assets upon login. New players can download Genshin Impact for free on the App Store for iOS here, Google Play for Android here, and the PC version is available on the official website here and the Epic Games Store. iOS users with iOS 14.5 or iPadOS 14.5 and later can utilize PS5 and Xbox Series X|S controllers.
