Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium Progression Guide

In Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, your primary objective is to swiftly progress through the story campaign and elevate your Commander level to 30. Achieving this milestone unlocks crucial features like PvP and Boss Fights, which offer rewarding incentives. This guide will outline all the steps you need to take to reach this goal, including tips on how to effectively manage your stamina.

Reroll

If you're playing as a free-to-play (F2P) player, rerolling is highly recommended to kickstart your journey on the right foot. At the game's launch, you have a chance to pull Suomi from the rate-up banner. While it's possible to obtain her without rerolling, doing so might deplete most, if not all, of your initial resources.

Aim to reroll until you secure Suomi from the rate-up banner and either Qiongjiu or Tololo from the standard or discounted beginner's banner. With Suomi and another SSR DPS unit, you'll be well-equipped for a strong start.

Push Through the Story

Focus on advancing through the story campaign as much as possible. Initially, ignore the side battles and concentrate solely on the story missions to boost your account level. The key strategy here is to prioritize campaign missions until you hit a point where you need to level up your Commander to proceed, then shift focus to other activities.

Do Your Summons as Necessary

As you progress through missions, you'll accumulate summon tickets and Collapse Pieces. Reserve your Collapse Pieces for rate-up banners exclusively. If you missed out on Suomi, channel all your resources into her banner to try and get her. Otherwise, use your standard summoning tickets on the standard banner to aim for another SSR character, but keep your Collapse Pieces untouched.

Limit Break and Level Up

Your characters' levels are linked to your account level. Whenever your Commander level increases, make sure to visit the Fitting Room to enhance your Dolls and upgrade their weapons. Upon reaching level 20, you'll need to farm Stock Bars to break the level cap, which can be obtained by completing Supply Missions in the Campaign menu.

Concentrate on your core team of four Dolls, ideally including Suomi, Qiongjiu, and/or Tololo, and fill the remaining slots with characters like Sharkry and Ksenia. If you have Tololo, you can replace Ksenia with her.

Do the Event Missions

At level 20, you can participate in event missions, which are time-limited and offer a side story along with Collapse Pieces and event currency. To maximize your gains, complete all Normal missions and tackle at least the first Hard mission. You get three attempts at Hard missions daily, which are your primary source of event currency. Use this currency to clear out the event shop, purchasing items such as summon tickets, Collapse Pieces, SR characters, weapons, and other valuable resources.

Dispatch Room and Affinity

Like many gacha games, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium features an affinity system. You can increase your Dolls' affinity levels by gifting them items in the Dormitory. Higher affinity levels allow you to send them on Dispatch missions, which provide idle resources and Wish Coins. Wish Coins are used in a separate gacha system for pulling resources and potentially obtaining a copy of Perithya. The Dispatch shop also offers summon tickets and other useful items, so keep up with this feature.

Boss Fights and Combat Exercise

Focus on Boss Fights and Combat Exercise modes next. Boss Fights are a scoring mode where you must defeat a boss within a set number of turns, with increasing difficulty at each level. The optimal team for this includes Qiongjiu, Suomi, Ksenia, and Sharkry.

Combat Exercise is the game's PvP mode, but you won't lose points for losing defenses. You can set a weak defense for others to farm points and accumulate your own points by targeting easy opponents.

Hard Mode Campaign Missions

Once you've completed all Normal mode campaign missions, you can tackle Hard mode and the side battles. While these don't provide Commander experience, they do reward you with Collapse Pieces and summon tickets.

And that wraps up our Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium progression guide. For more tips and information on the game, be sure to check out The Escapist.
