Author : Alexander Mar 13,2025

Rise of the Golden Idol's first DLC, The Sin of New Wells, arrives March 4th, bringing a new chapter to the captivating point-and-click adventure series. Step into the shoes of Detective Roy Samson, a new transfer to the gritty 9th district, where gruesome murders are just the tip of the iceberg.

The Golden Idol series has evolved, transitioning from historical intrigue in the original Case of the Golden Idol to the modern-day crime thriller of Rise of the Golden Idol. This latest DLC, available on PC and exclusively on mobile via Netflix Games, plunges players into a corrupt world alongside Samson and his partner, Cliff Savea. Together, they must unravel a series of brutal murders with unsettling ties to Lemurian magic.

The series' unique puzzle-solving mechanics challenge players to connect words and concepts, building theories and drawing conclusions from gathered evidence. Examine scenes, uncover clues, and piece together the events leading to the shocking crimes.
