Author : Eric Mar 15,2025

The Year of the Raptor has arrived in Hearthstone, bringing a revitalized competitive scene and a fresh expansion cycle. Kicking things off is Into the Emerald Dream, the first expansion, launching soon with a special pre-release event. A stunning new Year of the Raptor game board, boasting updated visuals and audio, awaits.

This year's Core Set update features a blend of returning favorites, crucial balance adjustments, and exciting new cards. To enhance gameplay, several cards known for their disruptive burst damage and frustrating effects have been removed. More details on these changes will be revealed soon.

Hearthstone Esports is roaring back to life in 2025 with a thrilling competitive calendar. Two Seasonal Championships and a World Championship, boasting a minimum $600,000 prize pool in partnership with Netease Thunderfire, will provide ample opportunities for players to showcase their skills and compete for glory. Further details regarding the format and rules will be announced shortly.

ytFollowing Into the Emerald Dream, Patch 32.2 will introduce a major Arena update. While specifics remain under wraps, expect significant improvements to the drafting experience and a fresh take on this popular game mode. This patch will also include a Battlegrounds Seasonal Update and the Into the Emerald Dream Mini-Set, arriving a patch earlier than usual.

This adjusted patch schedule reflects a broader realignment of development and content cycles to optimize the player experience. The Into the Emerald Dream expansion will maintain its standard structure, with all planned updates and events proceeding as expected. The schedule will revert to its usual format in Patch 33.0, following Patch 32.4.
