The Emerald Dream is set to enchant Hearthstone players when it launches on March 25th. This mystical expansion introduces 145 new cards, featuring innovative mechanics and new legendary Wild Gods. Dive into the magical yet perilously twisted world of Ysera's realm, where you can choose to safeguard its natural beauty or succumb to the chaos.
What’s Happening in This Expansion?
In the heart of all Nature magic, Ysera's tranquil realm faces a grave threat. Players have the choice to either defend its serene beauty or embrace the encroaching chaos. The new keyword for the Into the Emerald Dream expansion is "Imbue," a powerful mechanic exclusive to Druids, Hunters, Mages, Paladins, Priests, and Shamans. When you play an Imbue card for the first time, your Hero Power transforms into a stronger version, uniquely tailored to your class. Each subsequent Imbue card played further enhances your Hero Power. For instance, Hunters receive the Blessing of the Wolf, a significant upgrade, while other classes outside this select group won't benefit from Imbue at all.
On the other hand, if preserving nature isn't your style, the Old Gods offer an alternative path with the "Dark Gifts" keyword. This corruption-filled mechanic is available to Death Knights, Demon Hunters, Rogues, Warlocks, and Warriors. Dark Gifts provide twisted enhancements that integrate with Discover options, allowing you to conjure nightmare-fueled minions that can unleash havoc. There are 10 different Dark Gifts to explore in this expansion.

The expansion also introduces The Wild Gods, legendary minions who embody the colossal forces of nature. Each class receives one of these powerful entities to rally behind. Some Wild Gods have succumbed to corruption, creating a fascinating divide between those who fight to preserve the Dream and those who seek to plunge it into a Nightmare.
