Hogwarts Legacy will support mods and it will happen sooner than you think

Get ready, Harry Potter fans! WB Games has announced a delightful surprise: Hogwarts Legacy is getting mod support, launching this Thursday! This exciting feature will be exclusive to PC players via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

The update includes the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit, empowering players to craft their own dungeons, quests, and even character modifications. The reputable modding platform, CurseForge, will host and distribute these user-created additions. A built-in mod manager will simplify the process of discovering and installing mods.

Several pre-approved mods will be available immediately, including the challenging "Dungeon of Doom," promising intense combat and hidden secrets. However, there's a caveat: mod access requires linking your gaming account to a WB Games account.

Beyond modding, the patch introduces enhanced character customization, boasting new hairstyles and outfits. The developers showcased mod examples in a recent trailer.

Excitingly, development of Hogwarts Legacy's sequel is already underway, highlighting its importance within Warner Bros. Discovery's future plans.
