The name "Fugue" for the 5-star character Tingyun in Honkai: Star Rail might seem unusual, as it's not her usual name, even within the game's narrative. However, "fugue" refers to a loss of identity, a fitting descriptor given Tingyun's experience of having her identity stolen by Phantylia.

While Tingyun's survival after the events of the Destruction has been hinted at, her return and recovery from possession have been eagerly anticipated. Tingyun's banner launches on December 25, 2024 (local server time). This 2.7 banner concludes on January 14, 2025, marking the end of Version 2.7 and paving the way for Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.0. Tingyun's banner follows the debut banner and will feature Firefly's first rerun.
