Author : Andrew Apr 25,2025

The Carnival of Doom quest in Once Human, a thrilling post-apocalyptic survival strategy game developed by Exptional Global, presents an exciting challenge for players. Set for a mobile release on April 23rd, the game has already attracted numerous pre-registrations for exclusive rewards. This quest, orchestrated by the mysterious clown Chuckles, tests players' wits and survival skills in a sinister game of Russian Roulette. Here's a detailed walkthrough to help you conquer the Carnival of Doom and emerge triumphant against Chuckles' deceptive strategies.

How to Navigate to the Carnival of Doom Quest in Once Human

Before diving into the quest, let's review the key details:

Quest Name: Carnival of Doom
Quest Type: World Task
Recommended Level: 10
Location: Junkyard in Broken Delta, southwest of Meyer’s Market
Objective: Defeat Chuckles in a rigged game of Russian Roulette

While the recommended level is 10, skilled players might be able to complete it at lower levels. Start your journey at the Junkyard Point of Interest (POI), located southwest of Meyer’s Market. Be prepared to face Rosetta soldiers; ensure your weapons are fully upgraded to handle them efficiently without sustaining significant damage.

Once you initiate the quest, you'll enter a surreal, toy-like dimension ruled by Chuckles. Your main goal is to beat him in a game of Russian Roulette, but beware—the game is rigged. Here's how to outsmart Chuckles:

  1. Avoid Immediate Engagement: Don't jump into the game right away; doing so will lead to failure because of the rigged setup.
  2. Activate Spacetime Vision: Use the 'Q' key to activate your Spacetime Vision, which will reveal a cable connected to the roulette table and leading to a hidden area.
  3. Trace the Cable: Follow the illuminated cable to a wall where you'll find another figure resembling Chuckles manipulating the game.
  4. Request a Break: Go back to Chuckles and select the dialogue option to take a break. This will unlock a nearby door, allowing access to the area behind the wall.
  5. Confront the Deceptive Clown: Enter the unlocked door and quietly move to the room where the second Chuckles is controlling the cheating device. Since firearms are disabled here, use a melee weapon to take him down stealthily.
  6. Disable the Cheating Device: After eliminating the second Chuckles, interact with the Roulette Cheating Device to deactivate it, ensuring a fair game.
  7. Challenge Chuckles Again: Return to the main area and accept Chuckles' challenge once more. This time, pull the trigger yourself. With the cheating mechanism disabled, you'll win the game and defeat Chuckles.

Quest Rewards

Completing the Carnival of Doom quest successfully will grant you the following rewards:

  • Energy Link: x200
  • Experience Points: x500
  • Stellar Planula: x7
  • Eclipse Cortex Lv. 2: x1
  • Voodoo Doll Deviation: A unique item that can absorb a portion of incoming damage or redirect it to enemies when used.

For an enhanced gaming experience, consider playing Once Human on a larger screen using BlueStacks on your PC or laptop, along with a keyboard and mouse setup.
