If you’re a fan of Japanese music, you're no stranger to HYDE, the iconic artist who has graced Madison Square Garden and sold over 40 million records. Now, HYDE takes center stage in a thrilling new endless runner game, Hyde Run, which has just launched globally.
Initially released in Japan, Hyde Run is now accessible to players worldwide, courtesy of developer and publisher Phoenixx. The game offers global fans a unique way to engage with HYDE’s music, packed with nods to his illustrious career.
Move, Jump or Slide in Hyde Run
In Hyde Run, you'll experience the adrenaline rush of parkouring through a concert stage and a futuristic Tokyo simultaneously. As HYDE, you'll dash across Neo Tokyo, deftly dodging obstacles, wall-running past vibrant billboards, and collecting musical notes. The game's atmosphere bursts with neon and noise, setting it apart from typical endless runners with its guitar solo energy and HYDE-specific fan service.
As you race through the city, you can grab various power-ups, including magnets that attract notes towards you and barriers that shield you from harm. Before each run, you can choose items like Note Gain to increase your note collection or a Barrier to avoid tripping over obstacles.
Collect crystals to unlock exclusive HYDE outfits and room items from his extensive career. You can even access voice clips from HYDE himself by unlocking the Microphone Stand.

There’s More Stuff in the Game to Do
Hyde Run also lets you customize HYDE’s room with memorabilia spanning 20 years, from tour gear to more obscure references. Hidden items unlock additional messages and voice notes from HYDE, adding depth to the experience.
Currently, there's a range of limited-time content available until June 10th, 2025. The THE LAST ROCKSTARS Costume Set features HYDE in his iconic music video look, complete with matching ROCK Furniture like leopard prints, vintage trunks, and stage spotlights. For a more relaxed vibe, the Bat Jinbei Costume Set offers a summer-festival feel, while the Japanese-style furniture set includes bamboo, bonboris, and a wind chime shaped like HYDE’s Edyh character.
