Insomniac Games' new bosses have revealed the studio's plans after the founder's departure

Insomniac Games, the celebrated studio behind iconic titles like Spyro the Dragon, Ratchet & Clank, and Marvel's Spider-Man, is entering a new chapter. Founder and CEO Ted Price, in a carefully orchestrated transition, has stepped down, handing the reins to a seasoned leadership team.

This new leadership structure features a division of responsibilities among three newly appointed CEOs:

  • Jen Huang: Will spearhead the company's strategic direction, oversee partner collaborations, and manage overall operations. Huang underscores the studio's commitment to teamwork and collaborative problem-solving.

  • Chad Dezern: Will lead the creative and development divisions, ensuring the continued production of high-quality games and charting their long-term trajectory. Maintaining Insomniac's renowned standards is his primary focus.

  • Ryan Schneider: Will manage external communications, fostering strong relationships with other PlayStation Studios and partners such as Marvel. He will also drive technological advancements within the studio and engage directly with the player community.

Development on Marvel's Wolverine continues. While Dezern acknowledges it's premature to discuss specifics, he assures fans the project adheres to Insomniac's rigorous quality standards.
