Kaiju No. 8 Game: Global Pre-Registration Now Open

Exciting news for fans of the Kaiju No. 8 series: the much-anticipated game has now opened pre-registration on Android for global players. Akatsuki Games unveiled the first trailer back in June 2024, and after nearly a year of silence, the beloved manga and anime are finally making their way to mobile and PC platforms.

When Is It Landing on Mobile?

Mark your calendars for August 31st, 2025, as that's the launch date listed on the app store. This game is a collaborative effort between Akatsuki Games, TOHO, and Production I.G., all working together to capture the essence of Naoya Matsumoto's captivating world.

In terms of gameplay, Kaiju No. 8 The Game blends the anime's cinematic flair with traditional turn-based combat. Players will need to strategically expose a Kaiju's core to unleash their most powerful attacks. You'll have the chance to control fan-favorite characters like Mina Ashiro, Soshiro Hoshina, and Kikoru Shinomiya, each rendered in stunning 3D models and equipped with their iconic battle moves from the series.

While the game revisits key arcs from the story, it's not just a retelling of Kafka Hibino's journey. Instead, it expands the Kaiju No. 8 universe with fresh, original storylines, offering new adventures and challenges for players to explore.

Kaiju No. 8 The Game Opens Global Pre-Registration

Akatsuki Games is sweetening the deal by linking milestone rewards to the global pre-registration numbers for Kaiju No. 8 The Game. The more players who sign up early, the more generous the freebies will be at launch. One of the standout rewards is a 4-star [Aiming for Greater Heights] Mina Ashiro.

A new trailer has also been released, giving fans a closer look at the characters, including the Defence Force officers and the Kaiju themselves. If you're eager to get in on the action, pre-registration is currently open on the Google Play Store. Don't miss out—check out the latest trailer for Kaiju No. 8 The Game right here.
