KEMCO Releases Novel Rogue: A Card Deck-Building Roguelite for Android

KEMCO has just launched an exciting new roguelite on Android titled *Novel Rogue*, a captivating card deck-building fantasy JRPG infused with enchanting pixel art. The game is brimming with books, magic, and strategic gameplay, wrapped in intriguing stories that will keep you hooked.

In *Novel Rogue*, you step into the shoes of Wright, a young apprentice under the tutelage of Yuisil, known as the Witch of Portals. Your journey unfolds within the Ancient Library, where you dive into the narratives of four magical books, each transporting you to a distinct world. One book might have you assisting a princess knight in reclaiming her lost kingdom, while another could plunge you into the enigmatic mysteries of the underworld. The choices you make in these worlds dynamically alter the storyline, ensuring that every playthrough offers a unique experience.

What’s the Gameplay of Novel Rogue Like?

The heart of *Novel Rogue* lies in its turn-based card battle system, which adapts to the world of the book you're currently exploring. Each of the four worlds features its own deck-building mechanics. As you progress, you'll defeat enemies and choose from three new cards post-battle, allowing you to craft the ultimate deck tailored to your strategy.

The game introduces a 'Change' command, enabling you to redistribute damage among your allies, adding a layer of tactical depth. Additionally, the 'Novel Power' feature lets you enhance your deck using ink, while the 'Deep Record' mode ramps up the dungeon difficulty for those seeking high-stakes challenges.

As you navigate through the game, you'll gather treasures to gift to characters, strengthening your bonds with them. These relationships can unlock a special ending, adding to the game's replay value. For those who love customization, 'Witch Stones' allow you to change character costumes, letting you personalize your favorite looks.

*Novel Rogue* is available for free on the Google Play Store. For those looking for an enhanced experience, the premium version offers 150 bonus Witch Stones and additional perks, including an ad-free gameplay experience.
