Kingambit Joins Pokémon Go in Crown Clash Event Next Month

Author : George May 30,2025

Crown Clash is approaching, set to take place from May 10th to 18th, promising an unforgettable experience for Pokémon GO trainers. During this royal event, the legendary Kingambit will make its grand debut. To capture this powerful Pokémon, you’ll need to evolve Bisharp into Kingambit by having it as your buddy and defeating 15 Dark- or Steel-type Pokémon in Raid Battles. No battle required—just tag along and enjoy the spoils.

Joining the festivities are two new costumed Pokémon: Nidoqueen and Nidoking, each adorned with a majestic crown. Trainers might also encounter their Shiny forms, adding a touch of regality to their collections. These royal Pokémon will appear in three-star Raids, while Sneasel, Klink, and Pawniard will feature in one-star Raids.

The wild will be teeming with opportunities as well. Look out for frequent spawns such as Slowpoke (possibly dropping King’s Rock), Slakoth, Piplup, Combee, Snivy, and Litleo. Pawniard will also be more common, so keep your eyes peeled.

Don’t forget to redeem exclusive Pokémon GO codes to enhance your gaming experience. The double XP event for evolving Pokémon is perfect for clearing your evolution backlog. Event-themed Field Research tasks and a catch-and-evolve Collection Challenge will reward you with extra XP, Stardust, and additional chances to encounter Pawniard. Trainers at Level 31 and above can look forward to guaranteed Candy XL for evolutions upon completing the challenge.

PokéStops will showcase event-themed displays, allowing you to flaunt your royal catches. For added convenience, the Pokémon GO Web Store offers special deals to help you gear up for Crown Clash.
