Prochek and Olbram's feud threatens to rage on forever, unless you intervene. Here's how to bring peace during the "Battle of the Frogs and Mice" side quest in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*.

How to Start the Battle of Frogs and Mice in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
This side quest unlocks after completing either the Mice or Frogs quests for Prochek or Olbram. Finish either quest, and the next one will become available. Simply speak to Prochek in Tachov or Olbram in Zhelejov to begin. You'll then head to the pasture to initiate the conflict.
Should You Side With Prochek or Olbram?
Henry faces another tough choice. While siding with one will lead to combat, there's a path to peace. To side with Prochek, tell him "Let's get those Zhelejovites!" In Zhelejov, tell Olbram "Let's go and see those Tachovites!"
During negotiations at the pasture, avoid attempts at reconciliation; this will trigger the fight prematurely. Successfully passing a dialogue check might cause an enemy to flee, making the battle easier. Victory rewards you with groschen.
How to Stop the Feud
To achieve a peaceful resolution, ask Prochek or Olbram about ending the feud before heading to the pasture. Then, speak to Bailiff Thrush in Troskowitz, selecting the dialogue option, "You’d finally have some peace." This requires a successful dialogue check.
If you succeed, read the Troskowitz Chronicle in the scribe's room. If not, sneak in (saving beforehand is recommended). Speak with the scribe and choose, "Fecit, ordinem in regione ope clavi ferrei."
At the pasture, find three aligned oak trees. Examine the middle tree to find a nail. You can:
- Leave it: Splits the pasture equally.
- Place it in the west tree: Favors Tachov.
- Place it in the east tree: Favors Zhelejov.
The choice has minimal impact; select your preference. Inform Bailiff Thrush of your decision to end the feud. Then, bring Prochek or Olbram to the pasture to finalize the peace. You'll receive the Master Studies I book as a reward. This concludes the "Battle of the Frogs and Mice" quest.
