Last week, Embracer Group, Warhorse Studios' parent company, highlighted the game's exceptional performance, particularly on Steam, where it boasted over 250,000 concurrent players at its peak – a significant leap compared to the first game's peak of 96,069 seven years prior. The actual peak concurrent player count is likely even higher, considering console sales, though precise figures from Sony and Microsoft remain undisclosed.

The post-launch roadmap for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 includes three expansions slated for 2025. Free updates arriving this spring will introduce features such as a barber shop for character customization, Hardcore Mode, and Horse Racing. Summer will bring the first paid DLC, "Brushes with Death," focusing on protagonist Henry's assistance to a mysterious artist. Autumn delivers the "Legacy of the Forge" expansion, delving into Henry's adoptive father's past. Finally, winter sees the release of "Mysteria Ecclesia," a covert mission within the Sedlec Monastery.
