LEGO Reveals Jango Fett Starship for May the 4th

Author : Gabriella Nov 10,2025

LEGO has unveiled nine all-new Star Wars sets set to debut on May 1, 2025. These releases coincide with Disney's extensive May the 4th (Star Wars Day) celebrations, during which LEGO traditionally reveals a new Ultimate Collector Series starship. In 2023, fans got Luke's X-Wing Starfighter, followed by the TIE Interceptor in 2024.

This year's flagship model is Jango Fett's Firespray Starship, formerly recognized by Star Wars enthusiasts as Slave I (view it on LEGO's official store). The renaming, initiated in 2021 per Disney's request (as acknowledged by LEGO), appears permanent - likely reflecting corporate sensitivity regarding the term 'slave' in branding.

The last major iteration of this LEGO spacecraft launched in 2019 as a 1,007-piece 20th anniversary set modeled after its appearance in The Empire Strikes Back. This significantly upgraded 2,970-piece version recreates the ship from Attack of the Clones, tripling the previous piece count. When assembled, it measures 7.5" tall, 17.5" long, and 15.5" wide.

The premium set boasts an intricate interior, adjustable weaponry, and signature seismic charges. Display options include landing configuration (side position) or flight-ready orientation on the included black stand. Minifigures feature both Jango Fett and young Boba Fett.

Priced at $299.99, this collector's item is showcased in our photo gallery above. We'll provide hands-on building impressions soon - meanwhile, explore our current top LEGO Star Wars set recommendations.
