Leonardo da Vinci joins Uncharted Waters Origins in latest update

Author : Gabriella May 25,2025

Following the thrilling introduction of the large-scale PvP mode Great Clash last month, Uncharted Waters Origin is once again setting sail into new horizons with an update that dives deep into narrative storytelling. This time, the focus is on one of history's most iconic figures: Leonardo da Vinci. Players can now experience a new Relationship Chronicle titled "Genius Artist’s Unfinished Melody," which explores the enigmatic backstory behind da Vinci's legendary Mona Lisa. If you've recruited the Italian genius as a Mate, you're in for a treat with this standalone storyline, piecing together clues from his notes and sketches to uncover a deeper truth. It's a lore-rich adventure that you won't want to miss.

Alongside the narrative expansion, the update introduces two new S Grade Mates: Vivienne Hart and Ikal van Reuben. Fans of the game might also notice that Inn employees Gardur and Dolores can now be upgraded to full S Grade Mates, provided you've maxed out your Friendship levels with them.

The update isn't just about new characters and stories; it brings a host of quality of life enhancements. Company Research has been rebalanced to ease mission requirements and boost the earning of Research Points. A new Consecutive Repel feature makes combat grinding more efficient, while World Map navigation has been streamlined for a smoother experience. Additionally, buffs to Special Combining Parts will enhance your customization strategies.

Uncharted Waters Origin Update

Running through May 27th, two major events are set to keep players engaged. The Season Event features a 14-day attendance campaign where players can earn Wave Chests. These chests contain Red or Blue Wave Tokens, which can be exchanged for high-grade items at the Wave Shop. Simultaneously, the Treasure Exploration Event offers a 200% boost to both Combat and Adventure EXP through the Dream of El Dorado buff. Players can encounter new event enemies through Limited Requests and Land Exploration routes, adding even more excitement to the gameplay.
