Marvel Rivals Season 1: Free Skins, New Characters, and Villainous Makeovers!
NetEase Games' Marvel Rivals kicks off Season 1: Eternal Night Falls with a surprise gift for players – free Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch skins! Dracula's attack on New York City sets the stage, with the Fantastic Four leading the charge. The season runs from January 10th to April 11th, 2025.
This season introduces the Fantastic Four to the game's roster. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are available at launch, while Human Torch and The Thing arrive in a mid-season update (rumored to be a Duelist and Vanguard, respectively).
Players can earn free cosmetic rewards, including the Peni Parker's Blue Tarantula skin (page 3 of the battle pass) and Scarlet Witch's Emporium Matron skin (page 9). While the battle pass itself costs 990 Lattice (approximately $10), these skins, along with others, are obtainable through completing in-game quests and earning Chrono Tokens. Note that Scarlet Witch's MVP animation requires the premium battle pass. A separate Midnight Features event also offers a free Thor skin.
The in-game shop boasts new villainous skins for Invisible Woman (Malice) and Mister Fantastic (The Maker), adding even more options for customization. The overwhelmingly positive fan reaction speaks volumes about the excitement surrounding Season 1's content.
