Marvel Rivals Patch 20250327: New Galacta's Quest Easter Egg and Hero Fixes Revealed

Author : Aaron May 23,2025

NetEase Games has unveiled the patch notes for Marvel Rivals version 20250327, set to roll out just before Season 2 kicks off in mid-April. This update, slated for release on March 27, 2025, at 9am (UTC+0), promises a host of hero fixes and map adjustments without any server downtime, allowing players to jump right in and experience the changes as soon as they go live.

A notable addition to this update is an exciting April Fool's Easter egg tied to the Galacta’s Cosmic Quest board game event. This special reward, available from April 1 to April 4, 2025, is exclusively for those who have completed the event and offers a mysterious "hidden twist surprise" that players are eager to uncover.

The update also addresses several gameplay issues, including reducing instances of characters clipping through maps. A specific fix has been implemented for the Hydra Charteris Base map, resolving a glitch that could revive teammates outside the playable area. This patch brings significant improvements to hero abilities, with characters like Wolverine, Iron Fist, Iron Man, Loki, Doctor Strange, Magneto, and Human Torch receiving tailored tweaks. Wolverine, in particular, sees enhancements to his Feral Leap and Ultimate, ensuring they function more reliably.

As Season 1 draws to a close and anticipation builds for Season 2 on April 11, 2025, speculation abounds about the new heroes to be introduced. Fans are particularly excited about the rumored focus on Marvel’s Hellfire Gala, potentially bringing characters like Blade and Emma Frost into the fray, in line with NetEase's commitment to adding at least one new hero every half-season.

Fixes

All Platforms

General
  1. Resolved an issue in Custom Game where a disconnected player's character would still appear on the Like page during match settlement.
Maps and Modes
  1. Fixed several terrain issues that could cause characters to sometimes become stuck or clip into strange areas.
  2. Squashed a glitch in the Hydra Charteris Base map where Rocket Raccoon's B.R.B. could sometimes revive teammates outside the play area due to terrain changes.
Heroes
  1. Wolverine's Terrifying Pounce: Resolved an issue where the Hulk could sometimes have abnormal behavior after being catapulted into a terrain KO by Wolverine's Feral Leap. Now, the big guy gets the proper beatdown without any off-script environmental stunts!
  2. Iron Fist's Wall-Climbing Whimsy: Fixed a glitch in Practice Range where Iron Fist wall-climbing was beyond expectations. The master of martial arts can now keep his acrobatic feats on track!
  3. Iron Man's Teleportation Tangle: In Sanctum Sanctorum, Iron Man use of Hyper-Velocity followed immediately by portal entry could occasionally throw a wrench in the works—resulting in the ability to misfire and some off-color special effects. Now, Iron Man's high-tech strategy is as sleek as ever, letting him jet in and out as he pleases.
  4. Loki-Doctor Strange's Forbidden Tech: Fixed an issue in Doom Match where Loki's transformation into Doctor Strange allowed the use of the forbidden Pentagram of Farallah. This minds-warping mix-up has been vanquished.
  5. Magneto's Magnetic Moments: Resolved an issue in the post-match where Magneto's MVP could sometimes display some bizarre, offbeat visuals. The master of magnetism now commands his moments with true polar precision.
  6. Wolverine's Ultimate with Pinpoint Precision: Fixed a snag in Wolverine's Ultimate Ability where, under high network latency, foes sent flying and slammed into the ground could sometimes end up in the wrong location. Now, every Last Stand lands exactly where it should.
  7. Human Torch's Fiery Focus: Addressed a rare bug where the Human Torch's Primary Attack would sometimes miss its target entirely, leaving his incendiary prowess a little less scorching. With this fix, every burst of flame burns as brilliantly as intended—ensuring his heat is always on target!

Console

  1. Eliminated a bug that sometimes caused the focus to unpredictably shift to earlier messages when opening the chat window.
