Marvel Rivals Shows Player Stats, Uncovers Popular Heroes

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Hero Performance Data Unveiled

NetEase has released comprehensive player statistics for Marvel Rivals, highlighting the most and least popular heroes during the game's initial month. The data reveals surprising trends and hints at potential shifts with the upcoming Season 1 update.

Jeff the Land Shark reigns supreme in Quickplay, boasting the highest pick rate across both PC and console platforms. However, when it comes to win rates, Mantis takes the crown, achieving over 50% win rates in both Quickplay and Competitive modes (56% and 55% respectively). Other high-performing heroes include Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.

The "Hero Hot List" also reveals platform-specific favorites: Cloak & Dagger leads in console competitive play, while Luna Snow dominates on PC.

Here's a breakdown of the most picked heroes:

  • Quickplay (PC & Console): Jeff the Land Shark
  • Competitive (Console): Cloak & Dagger
  • Competitive (PC): Luna Snow

Conversely, Storm, a Duelist character, struggles with extremely low pick rates (1.66% in Quickplay and a dismal 0.69% in Competitive), largely due to player feedback regarding her underwhelming damage and gameplay. However, NetEase has announced significant buffs for Storm in Season 1, potentially altering her standing considerably.

The arrival of the Fantastic Four in Season 1, beginning with Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman at launch, followed by The Human Torch and The Thing later in the season, promises to further shake up the meta and significantly impact these statistics. The January 10th launch of Season 1 will be a crucial test of these predictions.
