Marvel Rivals welcomes an unexpected crossover: the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel's Spider-Man 2!

PlayStation announced this exciting collaboration on X/Twitter, showcasing NetEase Games' rendition of this iconic suit for their hero shooter. Originally designed by Insomniac Games for Marvel's Spider-Man, this sleek suit, distinguished by its white spider emblem, has appeared in all three games of the series. This Marvel Rivals addition marks a surprising partnership with Sony and their console-exclusive superhero title.

Marvel Rivals partners with Sony's Spider-Man game in a surprising collaboration.

Launching January 30th, the same day Marvel's Spider-Man 2 arrives on PC, the Advanced Suit 2.0 is a unique addition to Marvel Rivals' already impressive roster of unlockable suits. Adding to its appeal, Yuri Lowenthal, the voice actor for Peter Parker in Insomniac's Spider-Man trilogy, also voices the character in Marvel Rivals.

This collaboration provides another exciting addition to the game's content, following the launch of Season 1: Eternal Night Falls. This season introduced Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman as playable characters, with The Thing and Human Torch joining soon. Creative director Guangyun Chen has promised at least one new hero every six weeks.

While we anticipate the arrival of the new Spider-Man suit, explore other player-created content, including custom skins and the Season 1 balance changes. Learn how some players use the Invisible Woman's abilities to identify suspected bot players.
