Author : Grace May 26,2025

As we eagerly approach the August release of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, Konami has unveiled the opening movie for this highly anticipated stealth game. Fans of the original will find the opening instantly recognizable, from the iconic newspapers appearing on screen to the James Bond-esque title song, beautifully reprised by the original performer, Cynthia Harrell.

The video offers tantalizing glimpses of in-game moments, such as Snake's Olympic-style backward leap off a waterfall and the memorable scene of Snake the Snake Eater consuming a snake. These teasers are sure to stir excitement among fans.

Play*Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater* is a remake of Konami's acclaimed 2004 action espionage game, originally titled *Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater*. Konami recently confirmed that *Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater* will launch on August 28, and fans will be thrilled to know that the beloved *Snake vs. Monkey* minigame is also making a return. The game will retain the suggestive and sexual content from *Metal Gear Solid 3*, including the *Peep Demo Theatre*, as indicated by its age rating.

IGN's preview of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater noted that the game feels more like a highly polished HD remaster rather than a groundbreaking remake. "It's an admittedly beautiful nostalgia trip, but almost faithful to a fault," the review stated. This reflects on the new first-person perspective introduced in the game. The original Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater received an impressive score of 9.6 from IGN, setting high expectations for this remake.
