Conquering the Faithwight Magileto in Metaphor: ReFantazio
Metaphor: ReFantazio's dungeons often feature formidable mini-bosses, and the Faithwight Magileto in the Spire of Blind Faith is a prime example. This challenging foe requires strategic preparation and a bit of luck to defeat.
Faithwight Magileto: Weaknesses and Abilities
The level 50 Faithwight Magileto can summon additional level 50 enemies, making it ill-advised to engage below level 45. Its arsenal includes potent dark and light magic, both single-target and AoE (Megidolaon), enhanced by passive damage buffs. It also employs Soul Scream for extra Press Turn icons and can summon skeletal reinforcements.
These summoned skeletons possess strong slashing attacks, dark magic, and access to powerful healing spells, often restoring the Magileto to full health. Their weakness lies in Strike attacks.

Strategies for Victory
Even at level 50, this battle is demanding. Preparation is key:
- Archetype Selection: Prioritize Archetypes resistant to Dark, Light, and Slashing damage. The Warlock and Thief Archetypes are particularly useful.
- Skill Inheritance: Inherit Strike skills from the Brawler Archetype, Dark Dodge from the Magic Knight, and Light Dodge from the Healer.
- Focus on Strength: If you have many Archetypes unlocked, prioritize those with high Strength stats.
- Healing: Equip at least two party members with party-wide healing spells.
- Tetrabreak: Carry Tetrabreak to counter Tetrakarn used by summoned enemies.
Gameplay Tactics:
The fight involves some element of chance; consecutive Megidolaons are nearly insurmountable. Maximizing Dark and Light Dodge for your party mitigates this risk. Prioritize eliminating summoned allies swiftly before they utilize their potent healing abilities. Dekaja can dispel enemy buffs. Aim for at least six Strike attacks and two party-wide heals per turn to maximize Press Turn icons and maintain health.
