Alongside this exciting mission, the update also includes the World Games Special Mission, offering even more challenges and fun. To top it off, players can now dress their Minions in the stylish new Renfield costume.

Despicable Me: Minion Rush - Despicable Me 4 Update Trailer

It's fascinating to recall that the original Despicable Me was Studio Illumination's debut feature film, which, with assistance from Paris-based animation studio Mac Guff, launched a massively successful franchise. Minion Rush itself has been a phenomenal success, amassing over a billion downloads and maintaining its popularity for over a decade.

Despite some finding Steve Carell's Gru and his iconic yellow Minions a bit over the top, their appeal shows no signs of waning. With the imminent release of another film, interest in the series is poised to soar even higher.
