MiSide: A Comprehensive Guide to Solving the Glitching Carrots Puzzle

MiSide is brimming with hidden secrets and collectibles, including charming Mita costumes and character backstories. One such hidden gem is the optional Glitching Carrots puzzle, easily missed on a first playthrough. This guide provides a complete solution, ensuring you collect them all.

Locating the Glitching Carrots

The Glitching Carrots puzzle appears in MiSide's "Reading Books, Destroying Glitches" chapter, beginning with Player One's arrival at Mila's game world. After the initial dialogue, you'll navigate rooms to resolve glitches resembling floating black holes.

During this process, you'll encounter a peculiar carrot. Upon approach, it vanishes and reappears elsewhere, increasing in size with each teleport. The puzzle involves tracking the carrot to all its locations. Completing this unlocks the Carrot achievement.

Seven Glitching Carrot Locations

There are seven carrots to find. The following details their locations:

Glitching Carrot Location
Carrot #1 Kitchen fruit bowl on the counter
Carrot #2 Mila's bedroom, near the potted plant by the bathroom door
Carrot #3 Living room, vase on the table by the front door
Carrot #4 Bathroom closet top shelf (after solving the second glitch)
Carrot #5 Living room armchair near the bedroom door
Carrot #6 Kitchen table
Carrot #7 Mila's bedroom, on her bed

Collecting all seven carrots automatically unlocks the achievement. Ideally, collect them before solving the final glitch. However, if missed, you can replay the chapter after completing the main story.
