Monoloot: My.Games' Dice-Rolling Board Battler Now in Soft Launch

My.Games, the studio behind popular mobile titles like Rush Royale and Left to Survive, has launched a new dice-based board game, Monoloot. Think Monopoly Go meets Dungeons & Dragons! Currently in soft launch in the Philippines and Brazil (Android only), Monoloot: Dice and Journey offers a fresh take on the dice-rolling genre.

Unlike Monopoly Go's faithful adaptation of the classic board game, Monoloot significantly diverges, incorporating unique mechanics. Expect RPG-style battles, castle building, and hero upgrades as you assemble your own fantasy army. The game boasts vibrant visuals, a blend of 2D and 3D graphics, and clear nods to popular tabletop RPGs.

The Waning Popularity of Monopoly Go

Interestingly, Monoloot's soft launch coincides with a perceived slowdown in the popularity of Monopoly Go, a major mobile gaming success of the past year. While not necessarily declining, its initial explosive growth, fueled by extensive marketing, appears to be tapering off.

This strategic timing suggests My.Games is capitalizing on the positive reception of Monopoly Go's dice mechanics, offering a compelling alternative.

If Monoloot isn't available in your region, or if you're looking for other fresh gaming experiences, be sure to check out our list of the top five new mobile games this week!
