Monster Hunter Rise Beta 2 Arrives Next Week

Monster Hunter: Wilds' Second Open Beta Dates Announced

Capcom has announced the dates for the second open beta of its highly anticipated title, Monster Hunter: Wilds. This two-weekend beta, running in February 2025, offers players another opportunity to experience the expansive open world before the game's official launch on February 28th, 2025.

Building upon the success of the first beta (late 2024), this iteration will include all previous content, plus a brand-new monster hunt. Players can also carry over their previously created characters, eliminating the need for recreation.

The beta will be available across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam. The specific dates and times are:

  • Weekend 1: February 6th, 2025, 7:00 pm PT – February 9th, 2025, 6:59 pm PT
  • Weekend 2: February 13th, 2025, 7:00 pm PT – February 16th, 2025, 6:59 pm PT

Beta Content:

The second beta will feature:

  • All content from the first beta (Character Creation, Story Trial, Slay Doshaguma Quest).
  • A new hunt featuring the returning fan-favorite monster, Gypceros.
  • Character carryover from the first beta.

Addressing Player Feedback:

Capcom acknowledges feedback from the first beta, specifically addressing concerns regarding visuals and weapon gameplay. The developer assures players that significant improvements are underway based on this feedback, aiming to refine the game before its official release.

This second beta represents a crucial step for Capcom, providing valuable final testing and renewed excitement for Monster Hunter: Wilds. Whether a returning veteran or a newcomer, February 2025 promises an exhilarating hunt for monster hunters everywhere.
