Mortal Kombat Mobile brings in iconic Image anti-hero Spawn

Author : Ryan Jan 22,2025

Mortal Kombat Mobile welcomes back the iconic guest character, Spawn! This McFarlane creation, based on his Mortal Kombat 11 design, joins the mobile roster. He's accompanied by a new MK1 Kenshi, and boasts three fresh Friendship finishers and a brutal Brutality.

Mortal Kombat Mobile, the popular mobile fighting game, scores big with this latest addition. Todd McFarlane's anti-hero, Spawn (Al Simmons), a murdered soldier who made a pact with the Devil, brings his supernatural powers to the fray. His potential to unleash the Apocalypse adds a thrilling dimension to the game.

Spawn, a 90s icon (though his creation predates that decade), is a flagship character from Image Comics and a highly sought-after guest for Mortal Kombat, previously featured in Mortal Kombat 11.

Alongside a new Kenshi (MK1 version), Spawn's arrival is sure to excite fans. While some may dismiss the mobile version, the inclusion of this dark anti-hero will undoubtedly please many.

Spawn, appearing as he did in Mortal Kombat 11, is currently available in Mortal Kombat Mobile. This update also introduces three new Friendship finishers, a Brutality, and new Hellspawn dungeons. Download it now on the iOS App Store and Google Play!

A somber note: Just before publication, news broke of the alleged dismissal of the entire Netherrealm Studios mobile team. Sadly, Spawn's addition might be their final contribution.
