Project NET, a GFL2 Third Person Shooter Spinoff, Opens Pre-Registrations

Project NET, a thrilling third-person shooter spinoff of the popular Girls’ Frontline franchise, has officially opened pre-registration and a limited beta test! Learn how to participate and discover the connection between Project NET and the beloved Girls’ Frontline universe.

Project NET: Pre-Registration is LIVE!

The highly anticipated mobile game, Project NET, launched its pre-registration on March 3, 2025, as announced via the official South East Asian (SEA) Twitter (X) account.

Ready to join the action? Simply visit the official Project NET SEA website and click the "Pre-Register" button. You'll then need to provide your email address and select your preferred platform (iOS or Android). Pre-registration is also open on the official Russian (RU) website.

SEA Shock Point Test: Philippines Only (For Now!)

Alongside pre-registration, Project NET announced a limited beta test, the "Shock Point Test," on March 4, 2025. This test is currently exclusive to players in the Philippines and will be conducted on Android devices.

Important details: This is a limited-access, non-monetized test, and all data will be wiped after completion. A similar Shock Point Test is also planned for Russia; details are available on the RU website. The developers are actively working on optimizing the game for a global launch.

Here's the timeline for SEA Shock Point Test Recruitment Registration:

Following completion of the recruitment questionnaire, successful applicants will receive confirmation emails between March 24, 2025, and March 26, 2025. Further test qualifications will be distributed throughout the testing period (date to be announced).

Project NET: A Girls’ Frontline Legacy

Initially announced on December 27, 2024, by Sunborn Network (the creators of Girls’ Frontline), Project NET underwent its first localized test in SEA countries (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines) from January 9, 2025, to January 16, 2025.

The Girls’ Frontline franchise, a hugely popular strategy RPG gacha game launched in 2016, has expanded into an anime series and other games. Its sequel, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, was released on December 5, 2024. Project NET builds upon this legacy, promising familiar characters and aesthetics for fans.

While an official release date remains unannounced, Project NET will be available on iOS and Android, based on the devices used in its initial test.
