Project NET: A Girls’ Frontline Legacy
Initially announced on December 27, 2024, by Sunborn Network (the creators of Girls’ Frontline), Project NET underwent its first localized test in SEA countries (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines) from January 9, 2025, to January 16, 2025.
The Girls’ Frontline franchise, a hugely popular strategy RPG gacha game launched in 2016, has expanded into an anime series and other games. Its sequel, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, was released on December 5, 2024. Project NET builds upon this legacy, promising familiar characters and aesthetics for fans.
While an official release date remains unannounced, Project NET will be available on iOS and Android, based on the devices used in its initial test.
