LE SSERAFIM Returns to Overwatch 2 With New Skins, Emotes, and In-Game Challenges

Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Collaboration Set for March 18, 2025

Overwatch 2 is thrilled to announce another exciting collaboration with the renowned K-pop girl group LE SSERAFIM! This eagerly awaited event will kick off on March 18, 2025, perfectly timed with the release of LE SSERAFIM's new album, "Hot." Players can look forward to a fresh array of skins, emotes, and engaging in-game challenges. This marks the second collaboration with LE SSERAFIM, following their successful partnership in November 2023 to celebrate the release of "Perfect Night."

On March 11, Overwatch 2 unveiled a trailer for the upcoming event via a Twitter (X) post, confirming fans' anticipation. The collaboration was initially teased during the Overwatch 2 Spotlight on February 12, where Blizzard revealed plans for another joint venture with LE SSERAFIM.

This time around, players will have the opportunity to acquire new skins for Mercy, Juno, D.Va, Ashe, and Illari. Additionally, recolored versions of skins from the previous 2023 collab event will be available for purchase, featuring LE SSERAFIM-themed outfits for Kiriko, D.Va, Sombra, Tracer, and Brigitte.

While the popular Concert Clash mode from the first collaboration won't make a return, as it was specifically tied to the "Perfect Night" video, players can still earn exciting rewards. By participating in the event's challenges, players can unlock the Legendary Fawksey James Junkrat skin.

Overwatch 2 & LE SSERAFIM Collab Once Again With New Skins, Emotes and Challenges

Aimee Denett, Overwatch's Associate Director of Product Management, shared insights on the collaboration in an interview with Polygon on March 11. "This time around, we wanted to be part of one of the pieces that’s celebrating their new album," Denett explained. She further added, "While we don’t have a new song that’s specific to Overwatch, we had to celebrate K-pop culture, so we made a visualizer for one of the new songs off their album that we’re pretty excited about and a lot of extensive cosmetics for this collaboration."

The Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM collaboration will run from March 18 until March 31, 2025. To build excitement, a special Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Livestream Event is scheduled for March 17, 2025, at 8:30 PM PST, available on both Twitch and YouTube. This livestream will feature members of LE SSERAFIM and offer fans a detailed look at the new skins.
