Finding Feybreak Island
Feybreak Island is situated in the far southwest corner of the Palpagos archipelago. It's visible from Mount Obsidian's southern coast. The easiest route begins at Fisherman's Point (a fast travel location on Mount Obsidian's southern coast). From there, use an aquatic or flying Pal to cross the ocean.
If you haven't unlocked Mount Obsidian, journey southeast, equipping heat-resistant armor. Mount Obsidian is a prominent landmark, easily spotted from many locations. Unlocking fast travel points there will significantly shorten your travel time. Alternatively, a longer journey directly from the Sea Breeze Archipelago is possible.
Exploring Feybreak Island
Feybreak Island is considerably larger than Sakurajima, offering a substantial expansion to the game. Be warned: high-level Pals and a new enemy faction, the Feybreak Warriors, inhabit this island. Prioritize activating the Scorched Ashland fast travel point on the northern coast to facilitate quick returns after potential defeats.
Flying Pals are restricted; attempting to fly triggers anti-air defenses. Ground mounts like the Fenglope are recommended until you neutralize the missile launchers scattered across the island.
Once secure, focus on capturing new Pals and collecting valuable resources like Chromalite and Hexolite, crucial for crafting and building.
The island's main challenge is the Feybreak Tower boss, Bjorn & Bastigor. However, accessing this fight requires defeating three alpha Pals (Dazzy Noct, Caprity Noct, and Omascul) and obtaining their bounty tokens.
