How to Farm Greater Jeweller's Orb in PoE 2
The 
Greater Jeweller's Orb is a rare drop from monsters, technically obtainable anywhere. However, realistically, farming them effectively requires late-game Tier 10+ maps.
Breaches offer the best farming opportunity due to the high number of monsters encountered. While a powerful wave-clearing build isn't mandatory, it significantly increases efficiency. The rarity of your Waystones heavily influences drops, and using Precursor Tablets on nearby Towers further boosts item quantity and drop rates. Here's a breakdown of the optimal setup:

How Local Knowledge Works
The Atlas skill tree node, Local Knowledge, is often misunderstood. It doesn't directly increase drop rates but alters drop weighting. In Grass biomes, it provides a 40% increase in Socket Currency drops. 
Lesser Jeweller's Orb, Greater Jeweller's Orb, and 
Perfect Jeweller's Orb all fall under this category, making them more likely to drop.
However, Local Knowledge also increases drops of less desirable items in other biomes (Baryas and Ultimatums in Deserts, Gold in Mountains). Therefore, respec out of Local Knowledge when not farming in Grass, Forest, or Swamp biomes. Here are Grass biome maps ideal for farming:

How to Trade For Greater Jeweller's Orb in PoE 2
Trading is a more reliable method. The in-game currency exchange is safer and more convenient, providing accurate pricing. However, the trading website might offer cheaper options, requiring more searching.
For the Currency Exchange (accessible after Act 3 Cruel), specify "Greater Jeweller's Orb" as "I Want" and your currency (Exalted/Divine Orbs) as "I Have." Place an order at or slightly above the market price for immediate fulfillment.
On the trading website, filter by "Exalted Orb" under Buyout Price (note: the site equates 10 Exalted Orbs to 1 Divine Orb). Use "Direct Whisper" or "Copy Whisper" to contact sellers in-game.
