With its 3.5th anniversary on the horizon, Pikmin Bloom is gearing up to celebrate in grand fashion. The festivities will take a nostalgic turn, as your Pikmin will don attire inspired by Nintendo's iconic gaming hardware from the '80s and '90s, allowing you to reconnect with gaming classics.
Starting May 1st, players can participate in event missions to unlock the Nintendo Game Consoles ’80-’95 Decor Pikmin. But the celebration doesn't stop at video game consoles; it extends to Nintendo's pre-video game era as well. You'll have the chance to acquire Playing Card (Clubs Suit) Decor Pikmin, which pay homage to the original playing card decks that Nintendo produced during its early days as a physical toy manufacturer.
Push PlayWhile the new decor inspired by Nintendo's hardware may steal the spotlight, the nod to the company's roots with the playing card-themed Pikmin adds a unique touch. It's a fitting tribute, especially since Pikmin originated on the GameCube, though ironically, the GameCube itself isn't included in this decor set.
From May 1st to the 31st, make sure to engage in the event missions to collect Game Button Cells, which you can use to grow into the new decor Pikmin. Premium Event Pass holders have even more to look forward to, with additional perks and surprises throughout the 3.5th anniversary event.
