EA has unveiled Battlefield Labs, a closed internal beta program offering sneak peeks at future Battlefield installments. A brief gameplay clip from the pre-alpha build has also been shared.
Battlefield Labs invites will grant access to test core mechanics and concepts, though not all will feature in the final game. Participants will be bound by an NDA. Initially, Conquest and Breakthrough modes will be available, with early testing focused on combat and destruction, followed by balance adjustments.
Pre-registration is open for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. A few thousand players will receive invitations in the coming weeks, with regional expansion planned.

The developers state the game is in a "key stage of development," with no official release date yet announced. Development is a collaborative effort between DICE, Motive, Criterion Games, and Ripple Effect.
