PlayStation Plus Games for January 2025 Announced

January 2025's PlayStation Plus Free Game Lineup: Suicide Squad, Need for Speed, and The Stanley Parable

PlayStation Plus subscribers can claim three free games this January: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. These titles are available until February 3rd, 2025.

This month's selection includes the controversial Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, a PS5 title that generated significant buzz (and criticism) following its release in February 2024. While its player base may have shrunk since launch, PlayStation Plus offers a fresh opportunity for many to experience the game. It boasts the largest download size of the three, weighing in at 79.43 GB on PS5.

Also included is the remastered classic racing game, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered. Available on PS4 only (no native PS5 version), this title requires 31.55 GB of storage. While lacking PS5 enhancements, it remains playable via backwards compatibility.

Rounding out the trio is The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe, featuring native versions for both PS4 (5.10 GB) and PS5 (5.77 GB). This expanded edition of the 2013 original includes new content and improved accessibility features.

To download all three games, PS5 users need approximately 117 GB of free storage. Sony is expected to announce February's PlayStation Plus offerings towards the end of January. Throughout the year, further additions to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalogs are anticipated.
