Pokémon Go Deck the Halls for Holidays

Pokémon Go's Holiday Part One event kicks off December 17th and runs through the 22nd, bringing festive cheer and exciting gameplay. This initial phase boasts double XP for catching Pokémon, halved egg hatching distances, and a host of costumed Pokémon.

Prepare for encounters with a new costumed Dedenne (including a shiny variant!), a debuting shiny Sandygast, and wild Pokémon like Alolan Sandshrew, Swinub, and Darumaka. Raids will feature festive Pokémon such as Pikachu and Psyduck in holiday outfits, along with Glaceon and Cryogonal in higher-tier raids. Mega Latias and Mega Latios will also make appearances in Mega Raids.

7km Eggs hold the potential to hatch Hisuian Growlithe or a ribbon-adorned Cubchoo. Players can earn rewards via event-themed Field Research, a paid Timed Research ($2.00), and Collection Challenges offering Stardust and Poké Balls. Don't forget to check out PokéStop Showcases to display your festive Pokémon! Free in-game items are also available via redeemable codes.

The Pokémon Go Web Store features two limited-time deals: the Ultra Holiday Box ($4.99) and the Holiday Part 1 Ultra Ticket Box ($6.99), offering various in-game boosts and resources. Stock up on items and prepare for a fun-filled holiday event!
