Legendary Dynamax Pokemon Arrive Over Three Weeks
Meet the Legendary Trio: Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres
Beginning January 20, Pokemon GO trainers can encounter Dynamax versions of Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres until February 3.
These colossal legendary birds will appear in five-star Max Battles at Power Spots, where trainers battle and catch Dynamax Pokemon. Each bird will make its debut on consecutive Mondays:
⚫︎ Dynamax Articuno: January 20
⚫︎ Dynamax Zapdos: January 27
⚫︎ Dynamax Moltres: February 3
Following their initial appearances, each legendary bird remains available for a full week. The "Legendary Flight Timed Research" also offers chances to catch Pokemon—some with increased Shiny odds—perfect for battling the legendary trio. Victini Returns as Obtainable Mythical Pokemon
Pokemon GO has revealed new details for its global Pokemon GO Tour: Unova event. While physical attendance remains limited, all players worldwide can upgrade to Tour Pass Deluxe for enhanced rewards.
On February 24, 2025, at 10:00 am, players will receive a free Tour Pass to collect Tour Points and unlock rewards until March 2 at 6:00 p.m. local time.
The Tour Pass Deluxe upgrade grants instant access to Mythical Pokemon Victini and unlocks the Lucky Trinket at maximum tier. This exclusive item lets trainers establish Lucky Friends status for guaranteed Lucky Pokemon trades (with boosted stats and reduced power-up costs). Note this benefit applies once per trade.
Available bundles include Tour Pass Deluxe ($14.99 USD) or Tour Pass Deluxe + 10 Ranks ($19.99 USD). All upgrades must be claimed before March 9, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.
