Pokémon GO Fest 2025 Welcomes All Trainers
Niantic is thrilled to invite Trainers from around the globe to the spectacular Pokémon GO Fest 2025, kicking off this summer! Starting May 29th, the festival will be held in-person at the following stunning locations:
- May 29 - June 1: Osaka, Japan (Expo ‘70 Commemorative Park)
- June 6 - June 8: Jersey City, New Jersey, USA (Liberty State Park)
- June 13 - June 15: Paris, France (Parc de Sceaux)
A major highlight of this year's event is the debut of the elusive Steam Pokémon, Volcanion. Ticket holders at any of these events will have the exclusive opportunity to encounter Volcanion through Special Research. However, each player is limited to one encounter with Volcanion, no matter how many tickets they purchase. Additional Special Research stories will reward you with Volcanion Candy instead.

These items are available only through pre-order and in limited quantities. Pre-orders will be fulfilled during the event.
Please note that the Lapel Pin accessory and the limited edition Pikachu, Gengar, and Wobuffet backpacks are exclusive to the Jersey City and Paris events and will not be available in Osaka.
Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Global - An Event for Everyone
Can't make it to the in-person events? No worries! The Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Global event will be held online on June 28th and 29th, allowing players worldwide to join in the fun. Tickets for the Global event grant access to exclusive Timed Research for Volcanion, along with 5x Max Revives, 5x Rare Candies, and 3x Premium Battle Passes.
Global event tickets can be purchased up until June 29th. However, if you buy your ticket by April 15th and play Pokémon GO between April 8th at 10 AM local time and April 15th at 10 AM local time, you'll receive a special Timed Research that rewards an additional encounter with Skiddo.
