Pokémon Go Introducing a $100 Ticket Upgrade That Gets You Into a Better Toilet

Author : Blake May 28,2025

Pokémon Go enthusiasts have a new premium offering to consider for the upcoming Go Fest: Jersey City event. Niantic, the game's developer, has introduced a $100 Premier Access ticket upgrade that promises enhanced in-game items and access to improved real-world facilities, including "upgraded restrooms."

Go Fest, the annual summer extravaganza of Pokémon Go, is set to occur at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, as well as in Paris, France, and Osaka, Japan. For those attending the Jersey City event, the Premier Access add-on offers a range of exclusive benefits, akin to a Business Class experience at the event.

The Premier Access lounge boasts features such as "upgraded restrooms, portable charger kiosks with lockers, and seating to recharge yourself for your next adventure." While the specifics of the upgraded restrooms remain a mystery, these amenities are designed to enhance the comfort and convenience of attendees.

Additionally, Premier Access ticket holders will enjoy fast-track entry to the event's Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store, allowing them to bypass the often-lengthy queues and spend more time exploring the event and catching Pokémon. This is particularly valuable as the store's popularity can significantly cut into playtime.

The highlight of the Premier Access upgrade, however, is the extensive list of in-game items it provides. These include 100 Premium Battle Passes, 100 Super Incubators, 20 Max Particle Packs, and many more, offering substantial value that could otherwise cost up to $300 if purchased separately.

Here's the full list of in-game items included with the Premier Access upgrade:

  • 100 Poké Balls
  • 100 Great Balls
  • 100 Ultra Balls
  • 50 Silver Pinap Berries
  • 100 Super Incubators
  • 10 Lucky Eggs
  • 10 Incense
  • 10 Star Pieces
  • 10 Lure Modules
  • 10 Glacial Lure Modules
  • 10 Magnetic Lure Modules
  • 10 Mossy Lure Modules
  • 10 Rainy Lure Modules
  • 100 Premium Battle Passes
  • 20 Max Particle Packs
  • 5 Max Mushrooms

Additionally, Premier Access ticket holders will receive an exclusive enamel pin badge.

Reactions to the Premier Access ticket offer have been mixed. Some players are concerned about the high cost and the increasing number of pay-to-play options in Pokémon Go. Others appreciate the value of the in-game items provided, noting that for those with disposable income, the upgrade could be an attractive addition after already investing in travel and event entry.

IGN has reached out to Niantic to inquire whether this offer will be available at other Go Fest locations.

Pokémon Go Fest 2025 will take place over the weekend of May 29 in Osaka, the weekend of June 6 in Jersey City, and the weekend of June 13 in Paris. This year's event will focus on the release of the Legendary creature Volcanion and the broader release of the Mexican regional exclusive, Hawlucha.
